Baked pumpkin with sage and Parmesan

The pumpkin lies comfortably in the casserole dish, sage nestles next to it, Parmesan cheese sprinkles over it like a golden snowfall – and Kitty watches as if she's watching a delicate oven-baked fairytale. It smells of autumn, of spicy warmth, and when she tastes it, everything tastes so good that she briefly forgets she ever had any other plans. She leans back, smiles, and thinks: I just wanted something simple – now I'm eating autumn in casserole form.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Hokkaido pumpkin

  • 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)

  • 6 sage leaves

  • olive oil

  • Salt & Pepper


preparation

  1. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and brush with olive oil, chopped sage, salt and pepper.

  2. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

  3. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
