Red cabbage salad

Turquoise plates filled with red cabbage salad

Kitty is chopping red cabbage, the kitchen looks like a purple crime scene, and the salad is already sparkling cheekily with the dressing. Every bite crunches, splatters, and stains her fingers, as if it were secretly on a sabotage mission. Kitty shoves a fork into her mouth and thinks: I just wanted salad, now I'm going to paint the world pink.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg red cabbage

  • 4 carrots

  • 3 onions

  • 3 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 1 bunch of parsley

  • 5 tbsp sunflower oil

  • 3-4 tbsp herbal vinegar

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • Juice of one lemon

  • salt and pepper


preparation

  1. Finely grate red cabbage

  2. Finely grate the carrots

  3. Finely chop onions

  4. Finely chop the parsley

  5. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl

  6. Season with lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper

Tip:

It is best to leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
