Red cabbage steak with sweet potato mash

The red cabbage is baked in the oven, slowly braising itself into a steak, as if it wanted to show everyone what it's made of. The sweet potato mash waits beside it, soft and creamy, as if whispering, "Go easy, I'll catch you." Kitty peers into the oven, shakes her head and laughs, and thinks: I just wanted vegetables—now I have a two-act drama here.

Ingredients
1 small red cabbage
1 kg sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
2 tbsp butter
Salt & Pepper
For the spice broth:
8 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
A little lemon juice
1 tbsp vital spice "Clarity" from Zauberformel (advertisement)
1 tsp honey
Salt & pepper to taste
Topping:
Pistachios, chopped
2 tsp vital spice "Clarity" from Zauberformel (advertisement)
2 tsp black sesame seeds
preparation
Cut the red cabbage into slices about 2 cm thick.
For the marinade, mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Generously coat the red cabbage slices with the marinade and roast in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes.
Cook sweet potatoes for about 15-20 minutes.
Drain and mash with butter, salt and pepper until creamy.
Roast the pistachios in a pan without adding any fat.
Heat the remaining marinade and set aside.
Arrange the marinated red cabbage steaks on a bed of sweet potato mash.
Drizzle with the spice broth.
Sprinkle with roasted pistachios and garnish with the vitality spice clarity.
