The world we live in – from Kitty’s perspective: a buffet with guaranteed overwhelm.

Do you know what Kitty thinks when someone says, "The world is full of wonder and beauty?" She thinks, "Help, where do I start?!" Should she marvel at the Northern Lights first, try the monkfish in Spain, or get lost somewhere among samosa rugs and Bollywood dances?

Our world is one of the most spectacular places in the universe – and not just because we humans manage to drink coffee, scroll through Instagram and get annoyed about the train at the same time.

Diversity? It lurks around every corner. People, cultures, traditions—everything is thrown at us. Kitty often stands there like a small child in front of a candy aisle: everything is exciting, everything is too much, and in the end, she buys the same chocolate bars as always.

But seriously: If we look more closely, we realize that our differences are what make the world exciting. Imagine if everyone ate the same thing, listened to the same music, and wore the same shoes. Boring.

And then comes Kitty’s favorite topic: food!

Culinary diversity is like a global love letter to the palate. Spicy, sweet, sour, bitter, umami—so much flavor that Kitty regularly finds herself sitting in front of her plate, fork in hand, overwhelmed.

Every cuisine tells a story: about climate, history, and customs. About people who have learned to conjure up magic from what nature provides. About celebrations where food isn't just food, but a source of connection, joy, and identity.

And the best part? When we try things, when we're open-minded, when we appreciate the flavors of other cultures, we learn to love our own cuisine again. Kitty then thinks: Yes, potato salad, you may be boring, but it wouldn't be the same without you.

So: The world is a wild, colorful, often chaotic buffet. Dig in. Celebrate the differences. And remember: Those who taste variety always get a little more flavor in their lives.
